In the course of my paid employment I have just discovered that I can have posts from debutnovelist on my Facebook profile page, and I am actually writing this post on the Facebook WordPress App.
If you should by any chance wish to do this, go to http://wordpress.com/blog/2007/07/18/facebook/
Other interesting things you can do on Facebook (if you are that way inclined) are in an article at
http://webworkerdaily.com/2007/07/24/12-ways-to-use-facebook-professionally/
Personally I think all this may be getting a bit out of hand. Remind me not to get involved in such technical geekery outside working hours!
In the spirit of sharing, the more places your blog will show up, the more chances you will create visits. The automatic links with FB are a good start. You could also get each post systematically posted on Del.icio.us or other flagging/bookmarking sites. A lot of the updates can be done automatically or with very little effort. Also, I find Plaxo (a surrogate outlook that can aggregate multiple outlook/hotmail/other contacts also quite useful). Bonne chance (and thanks for having visited). Cheers, Minter
