… is the title of an article I submitted a year ago to the recently revamped RNA magazine Romance Matters. At the time I was told they already had a writer for articles on I.T., and although they did ask me to write a short piece on websites, I thought no more about my original (and though I say it myself, well chosen) 1000 words on using document map in MS Word (a topic I feel surprisingly passionate about!) When I leafed through the new issue today and saw my name at the top of a page, followed by my words of wisdom, I didn’t quite break out the bubbly, but it was definitely a surprise of the pleasant variety.
Now, if only they had told me in advance, I could have sent in a photo, not to mention this address (only a twinkle in my eye at the time). Ah well, you can’t have everything!
On the bright side, I’ve been dithering over another project involving I.T., and so this could provide the shove that I need.
