Despite the protestations of the UK contingent it looks like Amazon are sticking to their guns, but now that I have given in and bought something from amazon.com, I’ve been able to join the fray on the ABNA forum, where non-US entrants have formed a kind of writers’ co-operative to ensure we all get some reviews. So far only one kind soul has given me a review (rating 4* – not bad for starters!) but I’m hopeful I’ll get a few more. I’ve aso reviewed quite a few other non-US entrants and thoroughly enjoyed the submissions. So well done John Ramsey (a fellow Scot), Deborah Correnti and Lynne Barrett-Lee, though my favourite for its sheer originality must be The Speed of Life by Yanina Gotsulsky – an intriguing tale of Tolstoyan Moscow.
All in all it looks like there are some fantastic reads out there – may the best man win! (And don’t foget to read mine!)
