Changes to the ‘read’ page

Following comments from Nicola and other critical friends, I have reinstated the original opening chapter, which is now posted on the Read page. If you like, you can still read the alternative opening  (Word document, 35 KB, opens in new window), which now occurs later in the novel.

 Do leave your comments on any aspect of the novel or the website. There will be just a short delay before they are published.
