Since WordPress recently added a ‘poll’ feature to its blogging software, I briefly considered rerunning the vote for last night’s Strictly semifinal here, thereby discounting the Beeb’s mealy mouthed decision to keep in the admittedly delicious but off-form Tom Chambers. However, to try the thing out, I’m doing a different one (if I can get it to work). Basically, do you believe the byzantine reasoning that is going to make next week’s final a rerun of the semi, or was there a hidden agenda?

Hi Maureen – I did have this as one of my options then took it out as it seemed too obvious, but you could well be right – even more irritating if it was planned from the start!
