Yes, I’m a day early, but this is just a heads-up for my Special Guest who is due to arrive on Tuesday (okay, a day late) for a post-Halloween chat.
The guest in question (go on you can peek if you want to) is a master (mistress) of disguise, a historian, novelist and technophile who may well turn up in her favourite persona of Witch.
So while she is polishing up her virtual broomstick for the journey (who writes this stuff?) I had bettter get started on those seasonal treats: – toffee appples, devils’ foodcake, or, since she is also native Scot, the dreaded Treacle Scone (good picture of this barbaric custom here).
Do drop by on Tuesday. I think I can promise that the event will be a lot better than the publicity!
